    Devious,
I would be honored to ride with you and Stix. The problem is that I am recovering from some medical issues and I don't ride to fast....the truth is not fast at all. image I am finally back to a point were I can criuse at about 9-10 mph for about 10-12 miles and after a brief break, I can do 10-12 more. Our longest ride has been 25 miles not much compared to what I have read about you. image

We like to travel to various places to experience the different environments. The Van fleet is also an option over this way. It is 29 miles of a 12 foot wide paved, flat and straight roadway. There is only one very small road crossing that I know of. I like the Withlacoochee the best but there are a number of roads crossings. My wife has been riding with me just to make sure that I don't die on the trails. LOL If by chance you are planning to come over this way, please let me know.

Shak, it looks like a ride is something we will have to work on. I too like the Witlacoochee Trail, and if Stix is agreeable to that, maybe we can get together sometime in the near future. Or, I haven't ridden the Van Fleet Trail yet so that is another option. I think Stix goes to church on Sundays, so would a Saturday be ok with you?

What can I say, I'm blessed to be my age, and as healthy and active as I am. But don't believe everything you hear, it sounds like you are doing well, and getting better. I have to admit that I like going fast, and have a tendency to go fast, but, enjoying a nice casual ride in good weather with good company and converstion is something I don't ever want to get away from. If I'm not mistaken, James Artis, Rick Holeman (Recycled Teen) and I would be going down the trail before the rally at 8 and 10 mph and having one very good time.

So, it looks like we have a plan, now all we have to do is put it together. I'm looking forward to meeting you, and your wife if she goes along. I'll say something to Stix and let you two decide when and where. I'm retired and have a pretty free schedule. Talk to you later,

    David

I would be remiss if I did not thank you for the "Elder Assist" idea. It makes my Catrike experience even more enjoyable!

    Thank you

image Shak, thank you very much for that, and glad everything worked out. I like mine and find that I use it a lot more than I thought I would. Looking forward to meeting you, and am trying to work out a ride with Stix some Saturday or Sunday, maybe the West Orange Trail, or the Withalacoochee. Would you be interested?
